Do you ever think about why you eat?
The first answers that come to my mind are because I'm hungry, or tired or because my stomach is rumbling. It also might be because I'm bored, sad or just because those chocolates from Christmas are just 'calling my name' from the back of the cupboard!
These are just a few of the emotional and physical reasons why we eat. But do you ever put much thought into why your body needs food? Why is nutrition important?
What is nutrition anyway?
Nutrition is the process of getting food into your body and using it as raw materials for growth, fuel and for energy. The vitamins and minerals in the food keep your body healthy and functioning properly. With all my Personal Training packages, I offer 'Eat Well' advice where we can put you on the right track for your eating well journey.
Remember, it's 80% diet, 20% training!
With the well thought out meal plans I can help you with, I aim to provide you with no-nonsense, jargon-free eating advice. I'll make suggestions as what you should be eating and give you alternatives.
