Small Group
Personal Training

Small group training isn't anything new.  It's growing in popularity and getting people amazing results while having fun.

How it works is simple:

There is one highly qualified and experienced personal trainer and up to six people in a group. The workouts are planned in advanced and tailored to your own fitness level.  And of course we take into consideration any injuries or limitations.

It doesn't matter if you have never lifted a weight or haven't exercised  before.

We take it right from the start.

This could and will work for you because you're getting the attention and focus of what you would with 1-2-1 personal training but at the fraction of the cost.  Not only that, you will be working out with like-minded people who you will undoubtedly become good friends outside of the training.

With a small group of no more than 6 people per session, you get all of your trainer's expertise and attention at a fraction of the cost!

Small Group Personal Training Membership for both men and women, focusing on fitness, strength and getting you where you want to be.

What is Small Group Training
& Why does it work?

What is Small Group Personal Training?

Small Group Personal Training isn't anything new.  You get the benefit of a dedicated coach, in a private studio with a few other people training at the same time.

Each session, we focus on weights and conditioning to give you the building blocks for life-long fitness and strength.

And the best thing of all -- NO BURPEES!

We have two different types of session:
Ladies That Lift (Women only) and SWEAT (men and women)

Your fitness goals are unique to you.  Your trainer will be right by your side at every session so you don't have to think about what to do to get the best results.

If you are in any doubt, give it a try.

What is Ladies That Lift and SWEAT?

At MB Personal Training, we’re here to help you feel strong, confident, and in control of your fitness.

That’s why we offer Ladies That Lift and SWEAT—two small-group training programs built to deliver results in a supportive setting.

Ladies That Lift is designed for women who want to learn how to lift weights safely and effectively.

If the weights section of the gym has ever felt intimidating, this is your space.

With a max of six women per session, you’ll get hands-on coaching, personal attention, and the confidence to train for fat loss, strength, and long-term results.

SWEAT is a full-body workout for both men and women.

It’s all about moving with purpose—burning calories, building endurance, and staying motivated in a dynamic group setting.

It's a mixture of conditioning and weight lifting.

Expect variety, challenge, and support from a team that wants you to succeed.

Whether you're starting out or looking to level up, our expert trainers are here to guide you every step of the way.

FAQs

Is Small Group Training like a class?

No, not really.  The main difference is that with our Small Group Training, we only have 6 people training at any one time, so we can focus on technique and motivate them as if they were in a 1-2-1 environment

How many people are there in the small group training?

We cap the session numbers to 6 people to make sure we give you the best attention and focus.

When are the sessions held?

SWEAT:

Tuesdays 9:30 am & 6:45pm and  Thursdays 9:30 am & 6:45pm
Saturdays 9:30am

Ladies That Lift:
Mondays,  Wednesdays and Fridays 9:30 am, 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm.

Can I attend both Ladies That Lift and Small Group Training?

Ladies That Lift is ladies only! SWEAT is for men and women.

Are the session times flexible?

They are fixed

Will I get nutrition guidance?

Yes.  You will get a personalised, flexible nutrition guide on all the programmes: Personal Training, Buddy Training and Small Group Training.  This will form an integral part of your programme, as nutrition is fundamental part of your health, fitness and fat loss journey.

I don't want to lift weights.  What can I do?

That's fine.  (You shouldn't be afraid of weight training.  It has loads of benefits).
You can just come to the SWEAT Sessions which will focus on more cardio and fitness, but does have an element of weights too.  Or you could try 1-2-1 training or the Buddy Training option.  We would recommend booking in for a consultation to discuss all of the options so we can advise.

I want to lose weight and tone up.  Which option is the best for me?

Both options will be right for you as they focus on what you want as an individual.  Both programmes come with nutrition guidance and support.  We will help you with what to eat, how much to eat and get great results - without giving up the food you enjoy.

What if I have injuries?

We take every person through a full consultation, which includes full exercise and injury history.  With this information, we create a training programme that is tailored to you and any limitations you may have.
