I started training with Mike and Rich on December 30th 2019- I’d felt like crap for the good part of 18 months (my mum had died, Dad had had a brain tumour and almost died, I’d had 2 endoscopies for polops and a stress cough that lasted 4 months. I was sad, anxious and a bit depressed .
My doctor had told me I need to look after myself.
Mike was brilliant, he talked me through the program , set up my goals and what I wanted to achieve. They have an app , which has all your information and you have to fill it in daily ( my biggest downfall in the past - having no accountability). Every week I send my stats , I have a video from either Richie or Mike , and they are on the other end of the phone any time .
So fast forward to March 22nd 2020- 12 week’s later - I’ve lost not only 10kg (22lbs) , numerous inches off my body , but my mental health has improved 10 fold.
I’m coping better with life , people at work and in my life are noticing my change in attitude and I’m really motivated by where I’m heading. I’m continuing to train with Mike and Richie , because having someone else look out for you and believe you too , is important.
I’d not be where I am today without their support and guidance.

I stumbled across Mike & Richard on Facebook as they were about to start a free 5 day fat loss challenge, having gone back to the gym and not getting much of a result I decided to give it a go, I'm so glad I did! I did the 5 day challenge first and had great results, so I went on to do the 12 week VIP transformation programme. I have had amazing results and hit my target, not only have I lost weight, but I feel so much better in myself, I have loads more energy and confidence, I feel like the old me is back. The no diet diet is just fantastic, it's not a diet but a new way of life!
The guys are so passionate about helping others and really knowledgeable and supportive. I will always be grateful that I found them and would highly recommend to anyone and everyone to get them to help you with your weight loss journey.

I have struggled with my weight all of my adult life – been everything between a size 12 to a size 24. In November 2019 I joined the VIP 12 week programme to get myself started on shifting a recent weight gain. I was so unhappy with myself but also really lethargic about doing anything about it.
Mike & Richard made it easy! I started off with eating protocols – no diet plan or any such nonsense – and was amazed at how quickly I saw results.
Coupled with an exercise routine of 2-3 days per week, I had dropped 3 dress sizes by the end of the 12 weeks, shaved inches off and felt fitter and younger. No way am I going to undo my hard work so I am continuing with what they have taught me and know that I am going to achieve my goal. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough. Thanks guys.

I met Mike when I joined a Happy Bootcamp session in May 2016. I was 42, single Mum to 2 boys and busy, after a stressful few years I had got overweight, unfit and generally unhappy with the direction my health was heading. After a couple of sessions I realised I needed to get a bit more serious and signed up for weekly training sessions. Mike, Rich and Jo were so supportive at bootcamp – none of the ‘shouty’ stuff you see on TV – encouraging everyone to push themselves, but accepting that I was doing my best – even when I only did a little bit of the ‘set number’ of an exercise. I hated running with a vengeance, I could just about manage 100 metres.
12 months on, I am 2 dress sizes thinner (don’t obsess about the scales) – have muscles I can see (that was exciting!) and finished the Swansea Half Marathon this year – because I hate running?
Mike has been there through all the “I can’t” and “Bad weekend” and “Why am I doing this?” I could throw at him with a sense of humour and a push when I needed it. He’s also got me through various injuries without stopping training, by adapting workouts to suit and a bit of sports massage to help get me back on my feet.
I feel so much better than I have for years and have gained the confidence to say that Mike can post pictures of me to go with this! Thanks Mike and team MBPT – you’ve got me heading back in the right direction.
